Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern the acquisition of products offered through the various web platforms managed by HAMELYN TECHNOLOGIES S.L., with CIF B01658244 and registered office at Calle de los Llanos de Jerez 1, 28823, Coslada, Madrid, Spain (hereinafter, "Hamelyn").

By placing an order, the user declares that they have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these terms, as well as the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Returns Policy.

1. Product Information

The products marketed by Hamelyn are mainly second-hand books, movies, music, and video games, classified according to their condition. Images, descriptions, and features are displayed clearly, but there may be slight variations due to the nature of the product.

2. Prices and Taxes

  • All prices are indicated in US dollars ($) and always include applicable taxes depending on the destination country.
  • The final price will be clearly displayed before confirming the order.

3. Order Formalities

The purchase is considered formalized once the user:

  • Adds products to the cart
  • Completes the payment process
  • Receives a confirmation email with the summary of their order

Hamelyn reserves the right to cancel any order in case of obvious errors in price or product availability, informing the customer beforehand.

4. Payment Methods

Hamelyn accepts the following secure payment methods:

  • Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.)
  • Google Pay and Apple Pay
  • PayPal

All transactions are processed through certified payment gateways such as Stripe, with SSL encryption and PCI-DSS compliance. We do not store payment data directly.

5. Shipping and Delivery Times

  • Shipments in mainland Spain are made with operators such as Cainiao and Correos/Postlibri, with estimated delivery in 24-48 business hours.
  • Shipments to other destinations (Balearic Islands, Europe, or America) may take between 3 and 15 working days, depending on the country and geographic area.
  • The user will receive a tracking number once the order has left our warehouse.

6. Failed Deliveries

If the carrier cannot make the delivery:

  • Additional attempts will be made or the order will be left at a collection point.
  • If the order is not collected within the stipulated period and is returned to our facilities, a reshipment cost may be applied.
  • Hamelyn is not responsible for delays due to force majeure or errors in the address provided by the user.

7. Order Review

The user must check the condition of the package at the time of delivery. If signs of tampering or damage are detected, they must inform the carrier immediately and contact Hamelyn as soon as possible by WhatsApp.

8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

The user may exercise their right of withdrawal within 30 working days from receipt of the order. For more information, please see our Returns Policy.

9. Refunds

  • The refund will be made through the same payment method used in the purchase, after checking the condition of the returned product.
  • If the return is due to an error or defect in the product, Hamelyn will also refund the costs associated with the return shipment.

10. Data Protection

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by applicable Spanish and European law. In case of dispute, the parties shall submit to the courts of the consumer's domicile.
