When Lady Sandra Abbott (Imelda Staunton) discovers that her husband of 40 years is having an affair with her best friend, she seeks refuge with her older sister, Bif (Celia Imrie). The two are polar opposites: Sandra is a fish out of water compared to her cheeky, bohemian sister. Reluctantly, Sandra lets Bif drag her to a dance class, where she slowly begins to find her rhythm, her confidence, and a new lease on life.
