«Congo: Los espíritus de la selva» is the BBC documentary about the Congo region, on DVD.
The documentary shows the Congo region through the Baaka pygmies, who serve as guides through a territory of myths and legends that is almost unknown. It travels through the forests and wetlands of the north, with their lakes and swamps, and approaches the Mokele Mbembe region, where ancient superstitions about a legendary creature remain very much alive.
Part of the BBC Great Documentaries collection. Audio in Spanish, 4:3 picture, Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, region 2, and includes scene access.
For fans of nature documentaries and traditional African cultures.
