«District 9» is the 2010 science fiction movie, on Blu-ray.
The crew of an alien ship stranded in Johannesburg is confined to District 9, where they live isolated and rejected. An eviction agent mutates after exposure to extraterrestrial fluid and takes refuge among those he was meant to relocate. The mockumentary style and realistic effects support a story about segregation and xenophobia.
For fans of science fiction and action cinema with social depth who value an original narrative approach.
