Synopsis of Enemy of the State

Robert Clayton Dean, a successful Washington D.C. lawyer, is unwittingly caught in a dangerous political conspiracy after accidentally receiving a recording that implicates a high-ranking government official in a murder. Pursued by National Security Agency (NSA) agents using advanced surveillance technology, Dean must rely on a former intelligence operative, Brill, to clear his name and expose the truth before it's too late. This fast-paced action-thriller, directed by Tony Scott and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, is a genre classic featuring intense sequences and a plot that explores the limits of privacy in the digital age, starring Will Smith and Gene Hackman.
