«Essential Yoga for Inflexible People» is a yoga program on DVD from Bodywisdom Media, published in 2009.
It starts from the principle that ancient yoga postures do not require you to be flexible beforehand. It includes over 35 routines of 15 to 60 minutes for neck and shoulders, lower back discomfort, leg and arm strength and flexibility, range of motion, calm and energy. Judi Rice guides the sessions and Nicoline Valkenberg demonstrates the postures.
The DVD consists of 1 disc and the program is in English; Judi Rice, with 30 years of practice, follows a style close to the Iyengar method.
It is aimed at people who consider themselves inflexible and want to start or progress in yoga at their own pace, both beginners and intermediate practitioners.
