«Fireplace / Haardvuur» is an ambient DVD that plays the crackling fire of a fireplace on the TV, with texts in Dutch.
The disc shows a loop of images of flames from a lit fireplace and its crackling sound, so the screen generates the cozy atmosphere of a home. It is intended as audiovisual ambience: any television or computer becomes a visual heat source, without smoke or maintenance.
Suitable for those who want to evoke the warmth and atmosphere of a fireplace at home without installing a real one.
