«Jeannette, l'enfance de Jeanne d'Arc» is the musical movie by Bruno Dumont (2017), starring Lise Leplat Prudhomme and Jeanne Voisin, on Blu-ray.
The film approaches the childhood of Joan of Arc as an atypical musical: a peasant girl, among sheep and rural landscapes, experiences her first mystical encounters and expresses her faith through song. It adapts the play Jeanne d'Arc by Charles Péguy.
