«La 2ª Guerra Mundial – 8. El Desierto» is the eighth DVD volume of the documentary series «La 2ª Guerra Mundial», published by SAV Editora, in Spanish.
The war in North Africa was resolved after nearly three years: the episode shows how Montgomery's British troops defeat Rommel's Afrika Korps at El Alamein and force the German withdrawal from the region. That victory leaves the route to Italy open, the next Allied objective.
The series was awarded an Emmy. This DVD is number 8 of a collection of 26 titles and offers 4/3 picture, Dolby Digital sound and audio in Spanish (PAL, region 2).
For collectors of war documentaries and those interested in the history of World War II and the North African campaign.
