«La Importancia de Llamarse Ernesto» is Anthony Asquith's 1952 film adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play of the same name, on DVD.
Jack lives in the country and, to escape to London, invents a brother named Ernest. His best friend uses that same name on his visits to a young woman, and the tangle erupts when both their fiancées discover that Ernest is not who he seems. A comedy of errors satirizing the appearances of Victorian society.
