The film evokes the first Chilean socialist government, established in 1932 and overthrown a few days later, from a political and vindicatory perspective. Shot between Chile and Cuba and winner of the Senasa Critics' Prize, Littin's work became a symbol of committed cinema and was completed in exile.
Zone 2 edition, distributed by Divisa, with Spanish audio Dolby Digital 5.1 and a running time of 120 minutes.
Of interest to fans of Latin American political cinema and Chilean history; not recommended for children under 12.
