«Open All Hours: Series 2» is the BBC comedy television series starring Ronnie Barker and David Jason, on DVD.
Albert Arkwright runs a corner shop and his nephew Granville works with him. The series humorously portrays the small daily battles of a neighbourhood business: deliveries, customers and misunderstandings. The relationship between the miserly shopkeeper and his young assistant, with sharp dialogue and farcical situations, sustains the tone of this British comedy of manners.
BBC edition on Region 4 DVD, with the PG rating indicated on the cover.
For lovers of classic British comedy and neighbourhood humour.
