Sara and Cano are a couple in their thirties who rent a beautiful villa to spend a warm week in August. Everything goes well until buried jealousy and an untimely confession sour the atmosphere between them. One morning, Cano wakes up to find Sara gone. He searches the house and garden without success and calls the police, but Sara has disappeared without a trace. Exhausted by logical options, Cano decides to return to the house another summer to retrace the steps of those days in search of a clue. He desperately needs an answer.
