Retornados

Synopsis of Retornados

Humanity lives alongside the "Returned," people who appear normal but have been infected by a devastating virus. Only a daily injection of a protein prevents them from turning into zombies. Kate, a researcher, works tirelessly to find a definitive vaccine while hiding a personal secret: her partner, Alex, is a "returned." When the government announces a shortage of the protein and halts research, forcing the infected into a high-security military center, Kate and Alex decide to flee to survive. A race against time for survival begins in a world on the brink of collapse.
