Synopsis of Un lugar en el edén
A finales de los años 50, Nils, un oficial sueco y botánico aficionado, y su joven novia Ana, deciden abandonar la comodidad de su tierra natal para trasladarse a la jungla de Sudamérica. En su búsqueda por encontrar un paraíso privado, construyen una pequeña casa en un hermoso terreno selvático, pretendiendo vivir en estrecho contacto con la naturaleza. Sin embargo, su historia de amor toma un giro trágico cuando Nils observa cómo los terratenientes locales explotan el entorno, desplazando a los indígenas y destruyendo la vegetación. Al denunciar estos ataques violentos ante la prensa internacional, la pareja se convierte en el objetivo de los terratenientes, viéndose obligados a luchar por sus vidas para proteger su hogar.
