Lost Planet 2 picks up 10 years after the events of the original adventure, featuring a dramatically evolved landscape. With the success of terraforming activities, the planet's ice has begun to melt, giving way to lush tropical jungles and blistering deserts. Players follow the exploits of their own customized snow pirates on their quest to seize control of E.D.N. III, facing off against even bigger and more aggressive Akrid monsters.
This sequel introduces a four-player co-operative option that lets you play through the entire single-player campaign with allies. Powered by an advanced graphics engine, the game offers a third-person shooter experience with deep character and weapon customization, alongside an expanded competitive multiplayer mode for up to 16 players.
