«Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six» is the tactical shooter for PC published by Mindscape Entertainment in 1998.
The player leads Rainbow, an international counter-terrorist unit, in hostage rescue missions and battles against global threats. Before each operation, routes and orders are planned; in combat, a single shot can be lethal, so precision and stealth are essential.
CD-ROM edition within the Hits Collection line, with French texts.
It is aimed at players who value strategy and stealth over immediate action.
