«Das mit dem Auto Ist Egal, Hauptsache Dir Ist Nichts Passiert» is the album by Jens Friebe, released in 2007 by Zick Zack / Indigo, on CD.
The album combines pop-rock with German lyrics and a nocturnal cover featuring an owl, a road and the full moon. The title, colloquial and ironic in tone, hints at a repertoire of everyday and absurd observations. Standouts include «Du freust dich ja gar nicht», «Neues Gesicht» and «Hass, Hass, Hass».
Eleven songs, mostly in German, with the English-language track «Nothing Matters When We're Dancing». Catalogue number: INDIGO 905622.
Recommended for listeners of German-language pop-rock who appreciate ironic lyrics about everyday life and nocturnal aesthetics.
