«Mi sueño» is the posthumous bolero album by Ibrahim Ferrer, released in 2007 by World Circuit, on CD.
Ibrahim Ferrer, key voice of the Buena Vista Social Club, left this posthumous album conceived as the dream of his career: a complete repertoire of boleros, the quintessential romantic genre of Cuban music. Ferrer personally chose the songs before his death; Nick Gold and Roberto Fonseca sign a production that wraps his voice in elegant arrangements.
Sung in Spanish, it combines bolero, son cubano and guajira. Included in the Buena Vista Social Club Presents series, catalogue number WCD077.
For lovers of Cuban music, bolero and followers of the Buena Vista Social Club.
