«Navigator» is the downtempo and ambient album by José Padilla, released by East West on CD in 2001.
José Padilla, one of the key names of Ibizan chill-out, delivers in Navigator a collection of soft, enveloping electronic music. The record moves between downtempo and ambient, with warm textures and relaxed rhythms that evoke the sunset on the island. It is a listen designed for relaxation and quiet settings, far from the more danceable club.
Released by DRO EastWest S.A., the album appeared in 2001 and, according to documented editions, was distributed in countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Spain. The 2002 special edition includes an extra CD with additional material.
Recommended for listeners of ambient electronic music and fans of early-2000s chill-out and downtempo.
