«Nihil Obstat» is the album by Disco Las Palmeras!, released in 2011 on the Malapropia label on CD.
The trio sound between shoegaze, space rock, noise and punk, with sharp guitars, pounding drums and a bass added to a guitar. Their poetically apocalyptic lyrics appear on «La casa cuartel», «Estados emocionales (y Vaticanos!)» and «Los nuevos nihilistas».
With 11 songs, recorded in three studios, produced by Iago Lorenzo and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Studios (New York).
For those seeking sonic intensity and dense atmospheres close to The Jesus and Mary Chain, Spacemen 3 or My Bloody Valentine.
