«Soledad» is a compilation by Argentine composer and bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla, released in 2003 by Documents (Membran), on CD.
A compilation spanning Astor Piazzolla's new tango, with pieces that fuse the bandoneon with echoes of jazz and classical music. Includes «Fugata» and «Soledad», two examples of his skill at renewing tango with a melancholic and virtuosic tone.
The edition consists of a single CD; the styles represented are contemporary tango, jazz, and classical music.
For tango enthusiasts and listeners of contemporary instrumental music.
