«Spellbinder» is the jazz album by Hungarian guitarist Gábor Szabó, reissued on CD in 2005 by GRP Records.
Originally recorded in 1966, the album shows Szabó fusing jazz, Latin rhythms and echoes of Gypsy music, with a personal-sounding guitar and tracks that have become reference points in Latin jazz and Gypsy jazz. The performances were recorded at the Van Gelder Studio.
Remastered CD reissue, with one disc and 36 minutes of duration, published in Europe.
For fans of 1960s jazz, Latin jazz and Gábor Szabó's guitar.
