«String Quartets 14 & 9» is the chamber music album by Ludwig van Beethoven performed by Le Quatuor Talich, released on CD by Calliope in 1986.
The album brings together two Beethoven quartets: No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 131, and No. 9 in C major, Op. 59 No. 3, known as Rasumovsky. Op. 131 is structured in seven continuous movements, including an opening Adagio and a central Presto. No. 9 includes the Andante con moto quasi allegretto and ends with an Allegro molto.
Recorded in 1977 and 1979 in Paris, with technical direction by Georges Kisselhoff. Reissue from the French label Calliope, catalogue number CAL 9638.
