«The Dark Side of the Moon» is Pink Floyd's concept album, released in 1973 and reissued on CD by EMI in 1994.
The album traces a journey through the pressures of everyday life: time slipping away, money, lack of communication and mental fragility, with a sound of progressive and psychedelic rock, studio textures and sound effects. Featured tracks: «Money», «Time» and «Us and Them».
Recorded at Abbey Road Studios between June 1972 and January 1973, produced by Pink Floyd with Alan Parsons as engineer; lyrics by Roger Waters.
A reference record for fans of progressive rock and seventies psychedelia, and a good gateway into Pink Floyd.
