«The Planets Suite / St. Paul's Suite» is the classical music album by Gustav Holst with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, released on CD by RPO in 2005.
The CD brings together two orchestral suites by Gustav Holst. The Planets suite evokes in seven movements the astrological character of Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune, with passages such as «Mars, the Bringer of War» and «Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity». The St. Paul's Suite, for string orchestra, is lighter and includes the Jig. Conducted by Vernon Handley.
