Synopsis of A Cova das Vacas Mortas
Xoel, un joven de Negueira de Muñiz, vive con su madre alemana en una comuna cerca del embalse de Salime. Anhela escapar de su vida y embarcarse en un petrolero. Su vida cambia cuando su abuelo, viudo y con alzhéimer, llega desde Berlín. Entre sus pertenencias, trae cintas de cine y una cámara Super 8, revelando su colaboración con Leni Riefenstahl, la directora alemana acusada de simpatizar con el régimen nazi. Xoel conoce a Iria, hija de antiguos propietarios de Foxo, quienes reclaman sus casas tras la construcción de una carretera. Entre ellos surge un amor conflictivo, donde Iria critica el nazismo y la colaboración con él, incluso la del abuelo de Xoel.
