«A Time for Action» is the essay by former Treasury Secretary William E. Simon, published by Berkley in paperback (151 pages, in English).
Simon, who was US Treasury Secretary, argues that the country must regain its strength and addresses the challenges of the early 1980s: he criticizes the foreign policy of the time, tax reforms and received liberal ideas, and calls for a conservative turn in economics and politics.
The work falls within the categories of Business and Economics and History. The cover mentions that A Time for Action goes beyond William E. Simon's previous bestseller, A Time for Truth.
For readers interested in American conservative thought and the political and economic debates of the 1980s.
