«Aiuto, il mio cane tira!» is the practical dog-training guide by Turid Rugaas, published by Haqihana in paperback (80 pages, in Italian).
Turid Rugaas explains why dogs pull on the leash and proposes a calmer walk, based on observing the animal's language and allowing it to sniff and explore. Against pulling, she advocates serene communication that turns the walk into an experience of trust and mutual enjoyment.
Second edition, published on October 1, 2004, translated by S. Freir and edited by R. Scaringi.
For dog owners whose dogs pull on the leash and who prefer a respectful approach, based on understanding the animal's natural behavior.
