«Barcelona íntima» is Aurora Altisent's book of drawings of Barcelona, published by Lumen in hardcover (223 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together twenty years of Aurora Altisent's drawings of Barcelona: squares, streets, façades and urban corners with a line close to architectural drawing. Texts by Alexandre Cirici, Josep Maria Carandell and Lluís Permanyer accompany them, and the prologue by Pere Gimferrer presents it as a sentimental album and a journey to the city's myths.
First edition of 1992. The cover reproduces «La Pedrera», a drawing by Aurora Altisent commissioned by the Fundación de la Caixa de Catalunya.
For readers interested in Barcelona, its architecture and its visual memory, and for those who appreciate architectural-style illustration.
