«Cadencias» is the novel by Manuel Portas, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (120 pages, in Galician).
Set in a Barcelona of faint strokes, it follows three characters, she, he and Elisa, who move between love and sex, between intimacy and solitude. With an impressionistic sketch tone, the novel suggests that appearances deceive and that attraction depends on each person's gaze.
It is Manuel Portas's seventh novel and belongs to Xerais's Edición Literaria-Milmanda collection.
Work aimed at readers of contemporary fiction interested in Galician fiction and stories about affections and solitude.
