«Cantigas de andar» is the novel by José Tono Martínez, published by Pre-Textos in paperback (193 pages, in Spanish).
The narrative, composed of stanzas, is written from the gaze of the traveler, the walker and the one who flees from himself, without a homeland and settling anywhere while the journey lasts. Conceived along the lines of a peculiar Camino de Santiago, it tells of the difficult search of the author and the foreigner among strange journeys, with a certain eroticism of the road.
Published in Valencia in 1997 and belongs to the Narrativa collection of Pre-Textos (no. 289 of the series).
Intended for young walkers of heights and for unhurried readers, or for those who, having haste, would prefer not to have it.
