«Cartas desde mi molino» is a book of short stories by Alphonse Daudet, published by Ediciones Gaviota in hardcover (288 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together short stories set in 19th-century Provence. Drawing on lived or heard anecdotes, Daudet portrays southern France with irony and emotion: its mills, its landscapes and its people, with their joys, sorrows, mischiefs and imagination.
It belongs to the Trébol collection and features illustrations by Tino Gatagán and a translation by Joëlle Eyheramonno. It is the 3rd edition; the work was originally published as «Lettres de mon moulin» in 1869.
Recommended for readers aged 14 and up and for those who want to discover French classics and literary Provence.
