Este volumen reúne dos obras emblemáticas del dramaturgo noruego Henrik Ibsen: 'Casa de muñecas' y 'La dama del mar'. 'Casa de muñecas' narra la historia de Nora, una mujer que, al enfrentarse a la incomprensión de su marido, se repliega en sí misma y decide abandonar su hogar en busca de su propio destino. Esta obra, considerada un alegato feminista, generó gran controversia en su época. 'La dama del mar', por su parte, explora la dimensión misteriosa de la realidad, característica de la última etapa de la producción de Ibsen. Esta edición incluye una introducción de Mario Parajón y traducciones de Juan José del Solar y Pedro Pellicena.

Henrik Johan Ibsen was a Norwegian playwright. He is considered one of the world's pre-eminent writers of the 19th century and is often referred to as "the father of modern drama". He pioneered theatrical realism but also wrote lyrical epic works. His major works include Brand, Peer Gynt, Emperor and Galilean, A Doll's House, Ghosts, An Enemy of the People, The Wild Duck, Rosmersholm, Hedda Gabler, The Master Builder, and When We Dead Awaken.
