«Concetti fondamentali dell'ebraismo» is Gershom Scholem's essay, published by Marietti in paperback (153 pages, in Italian).
Gershom Scholem examines central notions of Judaism —God, creation, revelation, tradition and salvation— and vindicates the Kabbalah and Jewish mysticism as an essential part of that tradition. He also traces the influence of Neoplatonism on the biblical image of God and compares Jewish messianism with Christian messianism.
Originally published as «Über einige Grundbegriffe des Judentums»; this Italian edition belongs to the Radici series from Marietti. Italian translation by Michele Bertaggia.
It will interest readers of philosophy of religion, history of Judaism and Jewish mysticism.
