«Cronopaisaje» is the science fiction novel by Gregory Benford, published by Bolsillo Byblos in paperback (640 pages, in Spanish).
In 1998, an ecological disaster of global scope leads physicist John Renfrew to push for sending a warning to the past via tachyons, hypothetical particles faster than light. In 1962, scientist Gordon Bernstein fortuitously picks up those transmissions and tries to get the scientific community to appreciate his discovery.
The translation is by Domingo Santos and the English title is Timescape; it is part of the Byblos collection.
Aimed at science fiction readers who enjoy physical speculation and stories of communication with the past.
Gregory Benford is an American science fiction author and astrophysicist who is professor emeritus at the department of physics and astronomy at the University of California, Irvine. He is a contributing editor of Reason magazine.
