«Dans quelle France on vit» is a journalistic essay by Anne Nivat, published by Fayard in paperback (496 pages, in French).
After covering the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Chechnya, Anne Nivat lives for weeks in six French cities and listens to their inhabitants: concerns such as downward mobility, insecurity, unemployment, youth malaise and identity, along with humor and hope, far from the discourses of the 2017 election campaign.
The cover shows the subtitle «L'enquête-vérité d'Anne Nivat» and a white hexagon on a red and black background; the catalogue classifies it under History.
Suitable for readers of narrative journalism and sociology, and for those who want to understand the social and political reality of contemporary France.
