De schreeuw van de zeearend

Synopsis of De schreeuw van de zeearend

In the remote north of Sweden, far from the public eye, the exploitation of natural resources attracts both large corporations and dangerous criminal gangs. Lisbeth Salander travels to the region to reconnect with her niece Svala, while journalist Mikael Blomkvist finds himself caught up in a dangerous family plot during his daughter's wedding. Their paths cross again in a story where corruption and danger lurk around every corner. This work is the seventh installment in the iconic and successful Millennium series, originally started by Stieg Larsson. After the saga was continued by David Lagercrantz, acclaimed Swedish author Karin Smirnoff takes over to delve into this dark Nordic thriller that maintains the tension and style characteristic of the series.
