«Dinner for One - Killer for Five» is the humor and mystery novel by Michael Koglin, published by Knaur Taschenbuch in paperback (208 pages, in German).
Taking the famous sketch «Dinner for One» as its starting point, the novel imagines what really happened at Miss Sophie's 90th birthday. Butler James tries to keep up the fiction that the guests are still at the table while the elements of the original gag become entangled with a possible crime and an investigation full of black humor.
The original subtitle is «Der 90. Geburtstag und was wirklich geschah». The edition includes illustrations by Rudi Hurzlmeier.
For readers who want a mystery-style parody of the sketch «Dinner for One», with black humor and a light-hearted tone.
