«Edificios eléctricos» is the technical manual by Vicente Blanca Giménez, published by Universitat Politècnica de València in paperback (208 pages, in Spanish).
The work analyzes buildings' dependence on electricity as an energy source, from domestic appliances (television, washing machine) to collective-use systems (elevators, telecommunications). It explains the space reserved for voltage transformation, cable routing and the adoption of safety measures. Increased electricity consumption entails larger cable sections and reinforced protection.
First edition published in May 2005, framed within the Technology category.
Reference work for engineering students and professionals, especially those in electrical installations in buildings.
