«El diario de un bebé» is a popular science essay by Daniel N. Stern, published by Ediciones B. in paperback (184 pages).
Daniel N. Stern explains what a baby's inner experience is like during its first years: what it sees, how it experiences sensations, and what emotions it feels when discovering the world. He does so from a popularizing perspective, far from technical language, to bring the findings of child psychology closer to any reader interested in early development.
It is part of the Divulgación collection from Ediciones B. It is a translation of the original work Diary of a baby. It includes a bibliography on pages 175-181.
Intended for parents, educators and health professionals who wish to understand how a baby perceives and feels during its first years.
Daniel N. Stern was a prominent American developmental psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, specializing in infant development, on which he had written a number of books — most notably The Interpersonal World of the Infant (1985).
