«El Enanito de las Sábanas Blancas» is a children's story by Patricia Altez, published by Ediciones Palabra in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
In this adventure, little gnomes work in secret while children sleep: their task is to look after dreams and contribute to the happiness of the little ones. With a warm tone and fantasy, the tale answers the question of why we dream and shows who makes sure every night has good dreams.
It is part of the La Mochila de Astor collection, in its green series; this second edition includes illustrations by Mariano Hernanz López.
Recommended reading for children aged 7 to 9, especially for those who enjoy fantasy stories and dream worlds.
