«El plan maestro» is the historical essay by Heather Pringle, published by Debate in hardcover (576 pages, in Spanish).
The book reconstructs the history of the Ahnenerbe, the institute created by Heinrich Himmler in 1935 to fabricate supposed archaeological evidence of Aryan superiority. Heather Pringle follows the expeditions of mystics, adventurers and academics to places such as Tibet and shows how that research served to justify the Holocaust.
Original title: The Master Plan: Himmler's Scholars and the Holocaust (2004). Translation by Francisco José Ramos Mena. Published by Debate in 2007, in the Historia collection.
Aimed at readers of contemporary history, interested in the Third Reich, the Holocaust and the political use of science and archaeology.
