«El profeta Jeremías» is the humor comic by Francisco Ibáñez featuring Mortadelo y Filemón, published by Bruguera in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
The T.I.A. hires the prophet Jeremiah, presenting him as the last living prophet, to predict disasters. Mortadelo and Filemón must prevent the prophecies from coming true, but the predictions are so ambiguous that they lead to comic situations, such as when he announces that the T.I.A. will be blown up and it turns out to be just an electric dynamo.
It is number 2 in the «Olé! Mortadelo» collection. The «Olé!» series began in 1971 at Bruguera and this installment was published in 1999.
Recommended for readers aged 7 and up, especially for those who enjoy the absurd humor of Mortadelo and Filemón.
