«El TTIP y sus efectos colaterales» is the economic essay by Ekaitz Cancela, published by Ediciones Martínez Roca in paperback (224 pages, in Spanish).
The work analyzes the TTIP, the trade agreement between the European Union and the United States, and its consequences for society. Based on interviews and research work, Ekaitz Cancela examines the political context of the agreement and asks whether Europe should defend the liberal order promoted by the United States or commit to its own project.
The essay was published in October 2016 and is the first book by Ekaitz Cancela, who has written about the TTIP in media such as CTXT, eldiario.es and La Marea.
For readers interested in international economics, current political affairs and the debate on European trade agreements.
