«El viajero» is the illustrated fable by Daren Simkin, with illustrations by Daniel Simkin, published by Grijalbo in hardcover (32 pages, in Spanish).
Charlie feels his life is not perfect and decides to lock all his time in a suitcase to go looking for something better to spend it on. On his journey through different places, he sees how seconds, hours and days slip away from him. Only at the end does he understand that happiness is not in a destination, but in living and loving the present.
The original title is The Traveler (2008), translated into Spanish by Silvia Pons Pradilla. El viajero was the first work of the brothers Daren and Daniel Simkin.
A reading suitable for children and young audiences and also for adults looking for a brief fable about happiness.
