«Elogio de la locura» is Erasmus of Rotterdam's satirical essay, published by Sarpe in 1985 in hardcover (268 pages, in Spanish).
The work gives voice to Folly, who in an ironic and humorous tone praises human follies while reviewing the customs of her time's society, including clerics and rulers; beneath the satire emerges a reflection on reason, wisdom, and the human condition.
This edition belongs to the collection Los Grandes Pensadores, number 19, and includes the translation from Latin by Teresa Suero Roca.
