"Estevill y el clan de los mentirosos" is a chronicle that recounts a blackmail to the bourgeoisie, the bank and the institutions. The book tells the story of Luís Pascual Estevill, a character who rose to power in Catalonia thanks to a conspiracy orchestrated by the Clan de los Mentirosos, an organization formed by influential personalities from the bourgeoisie and Catalan political power. Through extortion and blackmail, Estevill committed crimes that benefited the clan, even establishing a close relationship with key figures in the Catalan government. Finally, his fall led him to face trial for crimes of prevarication, extortion and bribery, where other members of the clan were also tried.
