«Fanhunter: Herencia» is the science fiction novel by Cels Piñol, published by Martínez Roca in 2000 in paperback (253 pages, in Spanish).
The action takes place in 2026, in an epic-decadent dystopia where popular culture is persecuted: reading comics, listening to loud music, or mastering video games turns the fan into an outlaw. Those same hobbies, however, can also be the key to saving one's life and to facing a world in decline.
«Herencia» is part of the Fanhunter universe, created by Cels Piñol.
An ideal read for fans of geek culture who enjoy dystopian worlds.
