«Girl with Green Eyes» is a novel by Edna O'Brien, published by Penguin Books in paperback (224 pages, in English).
Caithleen and Baba live in Dublin and try to leave their rural upbringing behind: they go out with men and seek excitement. The novel combines comedy and melancholy and explores innocence, sexuality and the contradictions of the Ireland of the time.
